Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant Urgent Care

Geisinger is currently seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner for a full-time opportunity at our ConvenientCare+ urgent care clinic in Selinsgrove, PA. The Geisinger Selinsgrove ConvenientCare+ clinic provides patients with an alternative to the Emergency Department when prompt intervention is needed to treat worsening illness or exacerbation of a chronic condition.

Job Description

• $10,000 recruitment incentive
• Attractive schedule: 14 rotating shifts/month, no overnight shifts, and no mandated additional shifts
• Shifts: 12 hour (M-F) & 10 hour (S-S)
• Work autonomously with onsite physician support and limited administrative burden
• Support staff: Physicians, Advanced Practice Providers, RNs (available all hours of operation), Phlebotomists, Radiology Techs
• Specialized equipment: Telemedicine carts, negative pressure rooms, continuous vital sign monitoring
• Diagnostics: X-Ray, Ultrasound, CT, MRI
• Hospital admissions: If necessary, patients can be directly admitted to the hospital from this hospital-based clinic
• Services: Diagnostics, including laboratory and imaging studies (onsite), as well as various treatments

Requirements

• Master's Degree-Nurse Practitioner (Required)
• Master's Degree-Physician Assistant (Required)
• Certified Nurse Practitioner - American Academy of Nurse Practitioners
• Licensed Registered Nurse (Pennsylvania) - RN_State of Pennsylvania
• Basic Life Support Certification - Default Issuing Body
