    Colorectal Surgeon

    Geisinger is seeking a Board Eligible/Board Certified Fellowship trained Colorectal Surgeon for its health delivery system. Geisinger is one of the nation's largest health service organizations serving patients throughout Pennsylvania.

    Job Description

    • This position will be at our Geisinger Lewistown Hospital and Geisinger Grays Woods in State College, Pennsylvania.
    • The Division of Colorectal Surgery will have a total of 7 surgeons across the system.
    • General Colorectal Surgery practice with a large volume of cancers and inflammatory bowel disease.
    • Surgeon's practice will be approximately 50% colorectal and 50% General Surgery.
    • Shared call.
    • Academic environment with a General Surgery Residency and strong research infrastructure.

    Requirements

    • Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (Required).
    • Licensed Medical Doctor - State of Pennsylvania.
