1099 Compensation Details

• $285 per onsite hour
• $20 per on-call hour

Work Schedule

• Clinic or OR Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00am-4:30pm
• On Call Details:
  • Off-hours Coverage: Contractor must make the contractor's provider(s) available on-call during all hours when the Wilkes-Barre VAMC clinic is closed, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, when scheduled.
  • On-call contractor's provider(s) must be available at all times for phone consultations with VA residents and physicians.
  • On-call provider must be available within 15 minutes by phone and on-site within 60 minutes.

Requirements

• Any active and unrestricted US state medical license will suffice.
• Board of Anesthesiology (ABA)
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS)
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Contract is for one year with extensions likely. A minimum commitment of six months is required.
