ER Locum Tenens Physician

ER in Wimauma, FL is in need of an ER Locum Tenens physician. This position involves working at two ER sites in Wimauma, FL, and Bradenton, FL.

Job Description

• Start: 8/1/2023 - Ongoing need
• Credentialing: 90 days once file is received
• Must commit to 8 shifts per month
• 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) with the option to work 24-hour shifts
• Number of beds: 10
• Volume: 35 patients per day, 17 patients per MD
• Procedures include central lines, chest tubes, trauma, procedural sedation, emergency cricothyroidotomy, difficult airway management, and rapid sequence intubation
• Traumas are re-routed
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)
• ACLS & NIH Stroke certification
• Florida medical license
