ER Locum Tenens Physician

ER in Bradenton, FL is in need of an ER Locum Tenens physician.

Job Description

• Location: Bradenton, FL - may be asked to cover other smaller, local ERs
• Start: 8/1/2023 - Ongoing Need
• Credentialing: 90 days once file is received
• Shifts: Must commit to 8 per month. Varied shift options: 6a-4p, 9a-8p, 12p-10p, 4p-2a, 8:30p-6:30a; times may vary during the week
• Number of beds: 300
• Providers: Day shift - 3 MDs & 3 APPs, Night Shift - 2 MDs and 2 APPs
• Sub-Specialty support provided (hand, maxillofacial, peds & oral)
• 20 medical ICU and 5 CVICU beds
• Volume: 195 per day, 39 patients per MD with APC help
• Procedures: Central Lines, Chest Tubes, Trauma, Procedural Sedation, Emergency Cricothyroidotomy, Difficult airway management/Rapid Sequence Intubation. Traumas transferred to trauma center
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board Certified (BC) or Board Eligible (BE)
• ACLS & NIH Stroke certification
• Florida medical license
