ER Locum Tenens Physician

ER in Wimauma, FL is in need of an ER Locum Tenens physician. This position involves working at two ER sites in Wimauma, FL, and Bradenton, FL.

Job Description

• Start date: 8/1/2023 - Ongoing need
• Credentialing: 90 days once file is received
• Must commit to 8 shifts per month, with 12-hour shifts (7a-7p or 7p-7a) and the option to work 24-hour shifts
• Number of beds: 10
• Volume: 35 patients per day, 17 patients per MD
• Procedures include central lines, chest tubes, trauma, procedural sedation, emergency cricothyroidotomy, difficult airway management, and rapid sequence intubation. Traumas are re-routed.
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board-certified (BC) or board-eligible (BE)
• ACLS & NIH Stroke certification
• Florida medical license
