ER Locum Tenens Physician

ER in Bradenton, FL is in need of an ER Locum Tenens physician. This position involves working at two ER sites, and the provider must be able to work at both locations.

Job Description

• Start date: 8/1/2023 - ongoing need
• Credentialing: 90 days once the file is received
• Must commit to 8 shifts per month, with 24-hour shifts (7a-7a)
• Number of beds: 10
• Volume: 25 patients per day, 13 patients per MD
• Procedures include central lines, chest tubes, trauma, procedural sedation, emergency cricothyroidotomy, difficult airway management, and rapid sequence intubation. Traumas are re-routed.
• EMR: Cerner

Requirements

• Board certified (BC) or board eligible (BE)
• ACLS & NIH Stroke certification
• Florida medical license
