Board-Certified Family or Internal Medicine Physician

The Indian Health Service is seeking a Board-Certified Family Medicine or Internal Medicine Physician to provide high-quality outpatient care in Phoenix, AZ. This opportunity is available as soon as onboarding is complete, with an initial 3-month assignment and option to extend.

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday to Friday, with a 1-hour lunch or 4 ten-hour shifts (day off TBD)
• Setting: 100% Outpatient
• Patient Volume: Patients per day
• Patient Population: Adults only
• Types of Cases: Standard outpatient care, chronic disease management
• Call: None
• Procedures Required: None (minimal GYN only paps/pelvic exams as needed)
• Charting System: EMR - RPMS
• Support Staff: Robust team including physicians, mid-levels, RNs, and specialty support

Requirements

• Certifications: BLS, ACLS (American Heart Association)
• DEA: Active, schedules II-V (fee-paid)
• License: Any active U.S. state license accepted
• Credentialing Timeframe: 6-8 weeks
• Reason for Need: Staffing shortage
