Primary Care Locums Physician

We are actively recruiting a dedicated Primary Care Locums Physician for a full-time, on-site position at a well-established outpatient clinic in Columbus, OH. This is an excellent opportunity to serve a complex, underserved adult population in a mission-driven, patient-centered setting.

Job Description

• Start Date: Must be available within 30 days
• Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
• Setting: 100% Outpatient Primary Care
• Patient Volume: 8 to 10 patients per day; rotates to cover same-day clinic
• Call: Shared weekly rotation; low volume (6 to 8 calls per week); phone only, no in-person or hospital/SNF rounding

Patient Population

• Adults 16+, primarily underserved Medicaid population
• High acuity: multiple comorbidities, addiction, and behavioral health conditions
• Supportive team-based environment focused on outcomes

Requirements

• Board Certification in Family Medicine or Internal Medicine
• Ohio Medical License (unrestricted and current)
• DEA License and comfort prescribing opioids
• Minimum 2 years full-time experience post-residency as a board-certified physician (telehealth/residency does not qualify)
• Experience with addiction and behavioral health strongly preferred
• FQHC or Community Health Center background preferred
