Neonatologist

Join our team as a Neonatologist in a well-equipped practice setting. This position offers the opportunity to work in a 16-bed Level III NICU with a supportive team of professionals.

Job Description

• Attend all C-sections
• Supervise NICU RNs and ancillary staff
• Perform NICU-level procedures including: intubation, BiPAP/CPAP, chest tube insertion, UAC/UVC placement, LPs, arterial/central lines, exchange transfusions, management of acute hemodynamic/volume issues
• No neonatal transport duties

Requirements

• Start date: Mid-August 2025
• Weekend coverage preferred; 12-hour or 24-hour shifts available

Practice Setting

• 16-bed Level III NICU
• 3 full-time neonatologists and 6+1 per diem pediatric mid-level providers
• Average census: 8-9 patients
• Average admissions: 0-2 per shift
• Night coverage includes Level I well-baby nursery issues
• Neonatologist on-site during days and on-call 24/7
