Part-time opportunity working just north of Durham, NC - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for a day shift hospitalist position.

Job Description

• Experienced Hospitalist Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• 7 shifts per 28-day schedule
• Half-time hospitalist ideally scheduled 7 days in a row
• 7a-7p
• Smaller community, working independently and admitting patients
• Work in collaboration with a rounding physician with an average daily census of 22 inpatients
• Average of 4 admissions per 24 hours
• Local candidate preferred - NC license in hand a must
• Will see all ages including newborn evaluations and cover simple pediatric issues
• Procedures are not required but highly preferred
