Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

A well-renowned hospital system is seeking a Cardiothoracic Surgery Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with First Assist experience to join them for an ongoing locums assignment located along the West Branch of the Susquehanna River.

Job Description

• Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• Start ASAP for ongoing need
• Mon-Fri 7a-6p followed by night call 6p-7a
• Weekend call 7a-7a with rounding from approximately 10a-4p
• Flexible schedules will be considered such as only weekends or 1 week on/1 week off
• Potential to work 14 shifts per month if desired
• 100% adult patients in a hospital setting
• Experience with endoscopic vein harvesting, CABG, thoracic cases, AVR, TAVR, aortic cases required
• EMR Cerner and EPIC
• Active PA license, DEA, ACLS, BLS, CPR, recent case logs
