Great opportunity for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work in an outpatient Pain Management/Ortho clinic within the Myrtle Beach, SC area.

Job Description

• Board Certified Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)
• 1+ year experience required in Pain Management, Ortho, Surgery, or related field as NP/PA
• Mainly an outpatient clinic role in Pain Management for general orthopedic conditions, particularly focusing on total ortho pain needs such as hips, knees, foot/ankle, sports medicine, spine, and shoulders
• Some inpatient duties required
• Standard office hours - Monday to Friday 8 AM to 5 PM
• Call schedule - clinic first then backup call of on-call physician
• Great support staff with dedicated RN, NP/PAs, and experienced surgical teams
• 20+ patients per day in clinic
• Primarily teen to adult patients with a range of Pain Management and Ortho issues with a focus on those requiring joint replacement surgeries
• Initial consults, pre/post-op, management of chronic pain and ortho issues, in-office bread and butter procedures
• Hospital employed
• EMR used is Cerner
