Locum Emergency Medicine Physician

Seeking Emergency Medicine physicians for long-term locum coverage near San Luis, AZ.

Job Description

• Coverage Date: ASAP - Ongoing
• Weekend Requirements: Yes
• On-Call Requirements: No
• 60 hours daily physician coverage
• Physician Shifts: 12-hour and 9-hour shifts, 8-hour shifts
• Independent Contractor Status
• APP Coverage: 48 hours daily
• Annual ED volume of 85,000 visits
• 75-bed ED
• 4 PODs
• Fast Track
• EMR: Epic
• Level 4 Trauma Center
• Dedicated diagnostic imaging suite with Ultrasound, two X-ray rooms, and CT scanner
• Immediate access to Cardiac Catheterization Lab
• Level III NICU

Requirements

• Must be BC EM with Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellowship; or PEDs with 5+ years current Emergency Medicine experience
• Must have AZ license and DEA
• Must have clean malpractice/background
• Must send self-query NPDB and EPA
• Must be able to work day and night shifts
• BC EM Required ABEM or ABOEM
• Certification Requirements:
  • ACLS
  • BLS
