Cardiothoracic Surgeon
Reston Hospital Center is seeking cardiothoracic surgeons to support Northern Virginia's newest cardiothoracic surgery program just outside of Washington D.C. in the fast-growing and highly desirable community of Reston, VA.
Job Description
- Board certified or board eligible
- Minimum of 5 years of experience required; exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered
- Superb communication skills and a passion for program development and collaboration
- Experience and comfort level with heart bypass surgery, valve repair and replacement (including TAVR and mitral)
- Experience in open and endovascular aortic procedures
- Knowledge and experience with advanced technologies to reduce the invasiveness of thoracic and cardiovascular procedures
- Capable of doing complex cases in an independent setting
- Virginia licensure or ability to obtain
