    Job Description

    • Demonstrate advanced knowledge and skills in the care of patients, understanding the unique aspects of the population served.
    • Deliver care based on the physical, psychosocial, cultural, safety, and learning needs of individual patients.
    • Rotate to areas other than assigned service areas and perform only those duties for which competency has been demonstrated.
    • Perform delegated duties consistent with the scope of practice and function within the philosophy and overall plan of care delivery at SMC.

    Requirements

    • Current BLS Certification through AHA or ARC
    • Current licensure in the State of Colorado as a Registered Nurse, or current active multistate nursing licensure
    • Registered Nurse Diploma; BSN preferred
    • Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse (CWON), Certified Wound Care Nurse (CWCN), or Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse (CWOCN) certification required; CWOCN certification preferred
