Job Description
- Provide comprehensive care for women, handling various aspects of their reproductive health from adolescence through postmenopause.
- Perform routine gynecological checkups and provide support throughout the pregnancy and postpartum journey.
- Utilize advanced clinical knowledge and practice to provide comprehensive healthcare to women ranging from adolescence through late adulthood.
- Perform comprehensive health assessments, develop differential diagnoses, conduct complete diagnoses, and manage health issues within scope of practice and in collaboration with supervising physicians.
- Assist in minor surgical procedures under the guidance of an OB/GYN.
- Administer prenatal care, provide postpartum support, and participate in birth care under supervision.
- Collaborate with physicians and team members to plan and implement patient care, promote health, and provide education.
- Evaluate test results, make clinical assessments, and recommend follow-up as needed.
- Address patient concerns, counsel on treatment options, and educate patients and families on reproductive health and wellness.
- Maintain accurate patient records, charts, and billing documentation.
- Consult with interdisciplinary care teams to support continuity and quality of care.
- Stay informed on national guidelines, OB/GYN standards, and current evidence-based practices.
Requirements
- Completion of a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program in the United States (excluding Puerto Rico).
- Active licensure in the state of Arizona (or eligibility for licensure).
- Open to both new graduates and experienced providers.
- BLS certification required; additional women's health certifications preferred.
