    Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Wound Care)

    We are looking for an experienced Wound Care Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our medical group in Fresno, CA. We are seeking a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner who is compassionate, caring, optimistic, self-motivated, gets excited about a challenge with a willingness to learn. Must be a team player who has a genuine interest in helping others and be able to work at least 3 days per week. The ideal candidate will possess specialized knowledge in wound management and demonstrate expertise in providing comprehensive care to patients with acute and chronic wounds. This position will require the incoming PA or NP to travel to different locations, providing mobile wound care potentially within clinics, long-term care facilities, in-home, and nursing homes.

    Job Description

    • Assessing and evaluating wounds to determine the appropriate treatment plan.
    • Implementing evidence-based wound care protocols and techniques.
    • Performing wound debridement, dressing changes, advanced biologics, and other wound care procedures.
    • Monitoring and documenting wound healing progress.
    • Educating patients, caregivers, and healthcare staff on wound management techniques and prevention strategies.
    • Collaborating with interdisciplinary team members to optimize patient outcomes.
    • Maintaining accurate patient records and ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.

    Requirements

    • Valid Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant licensure in California.
    • Certification in Wound, Ostomy, and Continence Nursing (WOCN) preferred.
    • Clinical experience in wound care.
    • Must be able to work at least 3 days per week.
    • Proficiency in wound assessment, treatment modalities, and wound care products.
    • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Commitment to providing compassionate and patient-centered care.

    Salary

    • $75-$85 per hour = up to $176k per year.

    Schedule

    • 3 days per week minimum.
