Generalist Radiologist

Established private practice of 31 is seeking two well-rounded Generalists for a partnership track position. One physician is needed in the core group/facility in Des Moines, the other to work in a regional hospital in Fort Dodge. The group covers a Level 1 Trauma Center as well as other smaller hospitals and four group-owned imaging centers. Ideal candidates are proficient in all modalities including mammography and light procedures. Volume is approximately 100 studies a day. Call responsibilities are shared equally with other radiologists in the call pool from 5 PM to 11 PM, and weekend coverage from 7 AM to 11 PM with two people covering on the weekends. Overnight call is covered by our separate pool of internal overnight radiologists who work from 9 PM to 7 AM.

Job Description

• Partnership track with call: Salary is 425k year one, 550k year two, 12 weeks vacation.
• Will consider an employed radiologist with no call: Salary 350k and 10 weeks vacation.
