Successful, stable private practice of 8 is actively recruiting for growth and expansion! The group is anchored by a 300-bed hospital (primary), a jointly owned imaging center, and covers 3 other community hospitals.

Job Description

• Must be proficient in MR, CT, PET-CT, US, Mammo, and some basic procedures.
• Needs are for MSK, Body Imager, IR, Neuro, or Breast Imagers.
• Share 1:8 call from home with nighthawk at 10 PM.
• On average, the daily volume is 120 studies per day.
• If IR, they are experiencing more pain management volume, paras, thoras, CT guided, joint injections, perm cath, nephrostomy.
• CT/US guided biopsies and drainages.
• Occasional nephrostomies/ureteral stents, vertebral augmentations, venous access including occasional port placement, cholecystostomies, percutaneous transhepatic cholangiogram with stent placement, and occasional/rare angio with embolization.

Requirements

• Salary of $400k for new grads and more for experienced candidates.
• Bonuses (anticipated, historically $40-50k/year).
• 12 weeks off (same as partners).
• Full benefits including $57k contributed in retirement/pension, malpractice coverage, platinum medical plan including family health, dental, disability.
• $10k CME allowance.

• Partnership after the 2nd year earning $650k.
• Partnership in the imaging center with a low buy-in financed by the group.

The community has a population of over 400k. It is located two hours from Atlanta or the Gulf Coast beaches. The area boasts excellent public, magnet, and private schools. There are several universities, a zoo, historical sites, an airport, an Air Force Base, museums, festivals, and two large (deep water) boating lakes.
