Physician Assistant Inpatient Rounding

We are seeking a physician assistant to join our small tight-knit facility in Johnstown, CO. This is an excellent opportunity for a compassionate and skilled provider who thrives in a collaborative, patient-focused environment.

Job Description

• Provide inpatient rounding services in a supportive medical facility.
• Perform daily inpatient rounds, including assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning.
• Collaborate with physicians and care team members to coordinate patient care.
• Document patient encounters accurately and timely.
• Provide patient and family education and support as needed.
• Monitor patient progress and make necessary adjustments to care plans.

Schedule & Work Environment

• Full-time, Monday to Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM.
• No nights, weekends, or on-call required.
• Supportive, team-based culture with a focus on work-life balance.

Requirements

• Active Physician Assistant license in Colorado (or eligibility to obtain).
• Preferred: Previous inpatient or hospitalist experience.
• Strong clinical judgment and interpersonal communication skills.
• Team-oriented mindset with a patient-first approach.
