LPN/Registered Nurse Home Health

Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

Helms Home Care is seeking to hire several Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses for hourly private-duty home care. Multiple shift options are available including weekday shifts (8-10 hours), weekend day (8-10 hours), and overnight shifts (10-15 hours). Patients live in and around the greater Charlotte metro areas. Applicants are matched with patients based on their skills, geographic location, and availability. Patients range from fully dependent (non-ambulatory with Trilogy machine) to partially dependent.

Job Description

• Familiarity with home skilled nursing needs including medication administration, Trilogy machine, gastrostomy, tracheostomy, activities of daily living (ADLs), passive range of motion (PROM), and lifting/moving.
• Provide compassionate and personalized care to patients in their homes.

Requirements

• Current NC or Compact State nursing license.
• Competence in caring for a home health patient with possible equipment such as a G-tube.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to communicate promptly with scheduling personnel.
