Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse

Helms Home Care is seeking to hire several part-time Licensed Practical Nurses or Registered Nurses for hourly private-duty home care. Six-hour morning shifts from 6-6:30 AM to 12:30-1 PM several days per week, including weekends. Patients live in and around the greater Charlotte metro areas. Applicants are matched with patients based on their skills, geographic location, and availability. Patients range from fully dependent (non-ambulatory with Trilogy machine) to partially dependent.

Job Description

• Provide skilled nursing care in a home setting, including medication administration, Trilogy machine operation, gastrostomy, tracheostomy, activities of daily living (ADLs), passive range of motion (PROM), and lifting/moving patients.
• Communicate promptly with scheduling personnel regarding availability and patient needs.

Requirements

• Current NC or Compact State nursing license.
• Familiarity and competence in caring for home health patients with possible equipment such as a G-tube.
• Reliable transportation.
