    Hershey Dental Group is excited to expand our patient-focused, two-doctor practice with a dedicated Full-Time Registered Dental Hygienist! We are hiring immediately and looking for someone who is passionate about patient care, teamwork, and long-term growth.

    Job Description

    • New Patient Adult: 90 minutes
    • Adult Recare: 60 minutes
    • Child Recare: 30-40 minutes
    • New Patient Child: 50 minutes
    • Perio Maintenance: 60 minutes
    • SRP: Varies based on diagnosis
    • Lunch: 60 minutes

    Schedule

    • Full-Time Schedule Requested
    • Monday, Tuesday, Thursday: 7:30 AM - 5:00 PM
    • Wednesday: Currently 11:30 AM - 7:00 PM (schedule changing in June)
    • Occasional Friday: 8:00 AM - 1:00 PM

    Requirements

    • Current dental hygienist license in Pennsylvania and an Associate's or Bachelor's degree in dental hygiene (where required)
    • Excellent working knowledge of dentistry, dental hygiene procedures, dental patient screening, and medical history documentation
    • CPR Certification

    Preferred Experience

    • 0 years of clinical experience
    • Experience using Velscope, Diagnodent, digital scanner, digital x-rays, and electronic medical record systems
    • Desire to continue learning and grow clinical skills to meet needs of patients and provide preventative care and overall maintenance of patients' dental health
    • Clinical needs as required by office

    Physical Requirements

    • Ability to perform essential duties as deemed necessary by the Office/Doctor/Heartland Dental with or without reasonable accommodation. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential duties of the position.
    • Prolonged periods sitting and standing
    • Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds at times
    • Availability to attend virtual training sessions (or in-person) periodically throughout the year
    • As part of our commitment to maintaining a safe and healthy environment for both team members and patients, a tuberculosis (TB) test is required for all new hires in dental office positions. This is a standard requirement for dental office roles and must be completed prior to starting employment. The test will be arranged during the pre-employment process, and any necessary guidance or paperwork will be provided. Not applicable in the state of FL & TN.
