Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49-bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology, and surgery.
Job Description
- Performs various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.
- Attaches electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study.
- Monitors the patient throughout the sleep study and documents observations.
- Collects data from various monitors and reports this information to the Medical Director.
- Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP Titration, Servo Titration Studies, and oxygen therapy when applicable.
- Answers directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
- The CPSGT/RPSGT also scores and prepares sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director.
Requirements
- Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist required.
- Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT) is required.
- Licensed Sleep Technologist is required.
- Current CPR (BCLS) Certification.
Preferred Requirements
- Scoring experience preferred.
- Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred.
