CT Technologist, Full Time (Free Standing ER- Deerfield Beach)

CT Technologist

This position will be in our Free Standing Emergency Room located in Deerfield Beach, opening May 2026.

Job Description

• Operate head or body X-ray scanners that create a computer-generated cross-sectional image, commonly called a CAT (Computed Axial Tomography) Scan.
• Perform CT procedures accurately and proficiently with an understanding of protocols for each exam.
• Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of computer language and cross-sectional anatomy.
• Practice proper sterile technique and adhere to infection control guidelines.
• Interact efficiently, professionally, and courteously with all contacts.
• Draw up requested medication/contrast media and accurately record the administered amount and time as per the physician's orders.
• Administer contrast media under the direction of a physician and recognize signs of contrast reaction, responding with appropriate action.
• Serve patients of all age groups (Infant through Older Adults as identified in Performance Standards).

Requirements

• Graduation from an accredited school of Radiology Technologist is required.
• Experience as a CT Technologist is preferred.
• Excellent customer service skills are required.
• Ability to effectively prioritize work and work under stressful situations is required.
• Florida CRT Radiology license is required.
• ARRT certification is required.
• ARRT (CT) certification is required.
• BLS certification is required.
