Job Description

• Examine patients regularly to evaluate their growth and development
• Prescribe and/or administer treatment, medication, specialized medical care to underserved children
• Explain procedures and discuss test results, plan of action, purpose of medication/treatment with patients and their parents or guardians
• Treat problems such as injuries, pre-existing conditions, and problems caused by illnesses or diseases
• Coordinate with nurses, assistants, specialists, and other medical staff to ensure proper treatments are followed
• Order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests for analysis and determination of diagnosis
• Gather and maintain patient information such as medical history, reports, examination results, etc.
• Advise patients, parents, and guardians on activities, diet, hygiene, and disease prevention
• Perform clinical research in developing safe medications, treatment, and best practice guidelines
• Refer patients to specialists for services when necessary

Two positions available.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or foreign equivalent
• Wyoming Medical License or ability to obtain
• Controlled Substance Registration Certificate from DOJ or ability to obtain
• Wyoming Controlled Substance Registration from Wyoming State Board of Pharmacy or ability to obtain
• Board of Pediatrics Certification
• Minimum of 2 years experience in the job offered

Travel

Work is performed at two clinic locations and travel will be required between the two work locations listed above.
