Interventional Radiologist - Breast / Teleradiologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and licensed Teleradiologist in New Jersey or Florida to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for interpreting a variety of imaging studies, primarily focusing on Bread-and-Butter cases from the Emergency Room (ER). This role offers flexibility in scheduling and the opportunity to work remotely.

Job Description

• Current staff includes 15 remote and 5 in-house.
• Schedule is very flexible but must have a structured schedule. Options include one day a week, specific days (Friday or Monday), or by modality (e.g., only reading X-rays). Schedule flexibility can be discussed based on cost.
• Available hospitals include Palmetto Hospital (Miami, larger hospital), Desoto Memorial, and Hendry Hospital.
• Compensation for Teleradiologist:
  • Nights: $40/hr. RVU
  • Days: $35/hr.
• Availability includes 1 slot for daytime shift in Florida (Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM) with enough volume to handle 80-90 studies.
• Credentialing within 30 days if documents are submitted promptly.

Additional Information

• Location options also include New Jersey with hospitals such as St. Michael ER, St. Claire's, and St. Mary's.
• Compensation for Teleradiologist in New Jersey:
  • Nights: $40/hr. RVU
  • Days: $35/hr.
• IR Breast Compensation: Daily rate for breast biopsies, schedule flexible.
• Work includes one day a week of biopsies at St. Michaels.
• SHI has been engaged in radiology for 2 years at the request of the hospitals to take on those contracts.
• Malpractice insurance coverage is occurrence-based, with tail coverage built in.
• PACS is McKesson and EMR is Meditech.
