    Clinic Cardiac Electrophysiologist

    Join our team as a Clinic Cardiac Electrophysiologist, where you will have the opportunity to work in a state-of-the-art facility dedicated to providing exceptional care in cardiac electrophysiology.

    Job Description

    • 100% EP practice at 1 hospital
    • Outreach clinic: 1-4 half days per month
    • 3 state-of-the-art EP labs, including 2 biplane EP labs
    • Utilize CARTO, EnSite, and Rhythmia mapping systems as well as Cryoablation
    • Work with Farapulse PFA
    • CRM: Medtronic, Boston Scientific, and Abbott
    • Hybrid lab available for EP procedures
    • Participate in a very active clinical EP research program: Platinum research site and Center of Training for Boston Scientific
    • Use EPIC EMR
    • Collaborate with 5 EP providers, 16 Cardiologists, and Interventional Cardiologists
    • Report to EP Director: Dr. Ziad Issa

    Requirements

    • Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
    • Board Certified or Board Eligible in Clinic Cardiac Electrophysiology
    • 3 years experience in EP practice after fellowship

    Education Qualifications

    • Clinical doctorate is required

    Experience Qualifications

    • Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients is required

    Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations

    • Licensed physician in the state of practice is required
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
    • Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty
    • Must have successfully completed, or be in the process of completing, an accredited residency program
    • Must be board certified or board eligible
