Prairie Cardiovascular Consultants is recruiting a BE/BC Advanced Imaging General Cardiologist to join our practice in Springfield, Illinois. Job Description

• Cardiac imaging including Cardiac CT, Cardiac MRI, Echo, Nuclear Cardiac Imaging, and Vascular Imaging
• Participation in already established structural heart procedures involving complex TEE
• Large network of sites that refer for reads
• 2.5 days a month General Cardiology call at HSHS St. John's Hospital
• Epic EMR system for efficient workflow

Requirements

• Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
• Board Certified or Board Eligible, American Board of General Cardiology
• M.D., D.O., or professional equivalent degree
• Visa status: H1B supported; J1 ineligible

Education Qualifications

• Clinical doctorate is required.

Experience Qualifications

• Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients is required.

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
• Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
• Must have successfully completed, or be in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
• Must be board certified or board eligible.
