Family Medicine Physician

HSHS Medical Group is seeking an outpatient Family Medicine physician to join an established and very busy practice. Work in a spacious clinic based on the campus of HSHS Good Shepherd Hospital in Shelbyville, Illinois, located just 3 hours from Chicago and an hour from Champaign (home of the University of Illinois). Clinic hours are Monday through Friday, with the potential to do 4-day workweeks. The practice utilizes EPIC EMR and has a thriving environment with 5 providers and ample space for growth.

Good Shepherd Hospital is a 30-bed facility that provides emergency care, laboratory and imaging services in the Shelbyville community 24/7. The hospital features an advanced surgery department, inpatient care, rehabilitative therapy, and a wide variety of outpatient services.

Requirements

• Clinical doctorate is required
• Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients is required
• Licensed physician in the state of practice is required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) is required
• Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty
• Must have successfully completed, or be in the process of completing, an accredited residency program
• Must be board certified or board eligible

Compensation

Pay range: $300,000-$399,406 (inclusive of family and internal medicine)
