Primary Care Physician
HSHS Medical Group is recruiting an experienced board-eligible/board-certified Primary Care Physician (Internal Medicine or Family Medicine) to join our team at our clinic in Mattoon, IL. We are able to support both J1 and H1B Visa needs at this location. Mattoon is located at the intersection of interstate highway I-57 & IL Rt. 16, making it just 45 minutes away from the University of Illinois and has easy interstate access to all the major cities of Chicago, St. Louis, and Indianapolis. Mattoon is also just an 18-minute drive to Charleston, IL - home to Eastern Illinois University. Surrounded by beautiful natural landscapes, including Lake Charleston, which provides opportunities for boating, fishing, and other outdoor activities, Charleston offers an abundance of outdoor recreation opportunities. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Job Description
- Well established, growing practice with great community and hospital support
- 100% outpatient practice with a Monday-Friday weekly schedule and an option of a 4 or 5 day work week
- No call, no holidays
- Dedicated support staff provided with EPIC EMR
Requirements
- Unrestrictive Illinois license prior to start
- Board certified or board eligible
Compensation and Benefits
- Base salary with bonus earning potential
- CME reimbursement

Pay range: $300,000-$399,406 (inclusive of both family and internal medicine)
Education Qualifications
- Clinical doctorate is required.
Experience Qualifications
- Competence in delivery of healthcare services for adolescents, adults, and geriatric patients is required.
Certifications, Licenses, and Registrations
- Licensed physician in the state of practice is required.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) is required.
- Maintain a Controlled Substance license for the state and Federal DEA, when applicable to their specialty.
- Must have successfully completed, or be in the process of completing, an accredited residency program.
- Must be board certified or board eligible.
