Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a part-time BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Occupational Health team in Effingham, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

Job Description

• Part-time weekday schedule only, no holidays or weekends
• Well established, growing practice
• Dedicated support staff to assist with practice flow

Requirements

• Unrestricted Illinois license and DEA prior to start
• Board Certified
• 2+ years of practice experience as an NP or PA is preferred, but not required

Education Qualifications

• Master's degree in Nursing is required
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred

Experience Qualifications

• Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred

Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

• Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required
• Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred
• Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred
• Federal DEA license is preferred
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred
