    Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

    HSHS Medical Group is recruiting a BC/BE Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our Neurology team in Decatur, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.

    Job Description

    • Well established, growing practice with strong reputation within the Decatur community
    • Monday - Friday scheduled with an option of 4 or 5 days per week
    • No call schedule, no holidays, and no weekends
    • EPIC EMR
    • Ample training time with the neurology team

    Requirements

    • Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start
    • Board Certified
    • 2+ years of provider work experience is strongly preferred. Experience in Neurology is preferred, but experience in other specialties will also be considered.

    Education Qualifications

    • Master's degree in Nursing is required.
    • Bachelor's Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
    • Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.

    Experience Qualifications

    • Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.

    Certifications, Licenses and Registrations

    • Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
    • Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
    • Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
    • Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
    • Federal DEA license is preferred.
    • Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
