Advanced Gastroenterologist

Houston Methodist Baytown is actively seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Advanced Gastroenterologist with ERCP expertise (EUS preferred) to join an established team of four general GIs. This is a unique opportunity to be the only advanced endoscopist in a rapidly expanding market, backed by a Texas hospital system and one of the Top 3 Best Large Employers in the U.S. (Forbes, 2025).

Job Description

• Schedule: Monday to Friday
• Call: Equally shared with general GI colleagues
• Facilities: 4 dedicated GI suites with expansion plans underway
• Referral Network: Strong, built-in pipeline from Houston Methodist PCPs, surgeons, and oncology teams
• Support: Dedicated APPs and fully staffed clinic and endoscopy teams

Requirements

• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Gastroenterology
• Fellowship trained in Advanced Gastroenterology
• Eligible for a Texas medical license or currently licensed in Texas
• Open to both experienced physicians and graduating fellows
