Radiology - Breast Physician

Job Title

Join our dynamic team as a Radiologist starting in February 2024. This ongoing position offers 8-hour shifts with a 30-minute unpaid lunch, and a schedule of Monday to Friday, with optional weekends.

Job Description

• Support staff includes 1 radiologist on staff.
• Manage a patient load of 22-25 patients per day with 19-22 diagnostic reads.
• Primarily serve an adult/geriatric patient population, mostly women.
• Utilize EPIC as the electronic medical record (EMR) system.

Procedures

• Perform special procedures including breast procedures such as needle localizations, stereotactic biopsies, and ultrasound-guided biopsies.
• Required skills include conducting screening and diagnostic mammograms, breast procedures, breast MRIs, breast ultrasounds, and tomosynthesis (3D mammography).
• Limit to no more than 6 breast procedures done in a day (no more than 1 per hour).

Practice Setting

• Hospital environment.

Requirements

• Board Certification: BC.
• State license required: NJ.
• DEA: Yes.
• CSR: Yes.
• Credentialing timeframe: 60-90 days.
• Willing to license: No.
