Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist
Immediate opening for a fellowship-trained Head and Neck Surgical Oncologist in Huntsville, Alabama. Huntsville Hospital is seeking an ENT with fellowship training in head and neck surgical oncology to join an established free flap and robotic program. The candidate must have experience and training in Head and Neck Surgical Oncology and completed, or be in the process of completing, an AHNS approved fellowship. TORS and microvascular training and experience are preferred. Candidate skills should be appropriate for a tertiary care level referral center. The candidate will actively participate in a weekly CME certified Head and Neck multidisciplinary tumor board and have a strong professional relationship with 25 community-based medical oncologists and 8 radiation oncologists. The candidate will work closely with the current head and neck surgeon with an established free flap and TORS program and with the current endocrine surgeon/head and neck surgeon with a very large thyroid/parathyroid practice.
Job Description
- Join an established free flap and robotic program
- Participate in a weekly CME certified Head and Neck multidisciplinary tumor board
- Collaborate with community-based medical oncologists and radiation oncologists
- Work closely with current head and neck and endocrine surgeons
