    Interventional Cardiologist

    Join our team as an Interventional Cardiologist in Coos Bay, Oregon. This position is opening due to growth and expansion of services, providing a low-stress and engaging environment with a high caliber, collegial team.

    Job Description

    • BE/BC in Cardiovascular Medicine and Interventional Cardiology
    • Large primary care and community referral base
    • Full scope interventional procedures including PCI and PVIR
    • Rotate through hospital, lab, and clinic with NP/PA support
    • Shared Stemi call
    • Willingness to provide outreach services to nearby critical access hospitals
    • Customized orientation adapted to your skills
    • Responsibilities include seeing inpatient hospital patients, clinic patients, rotating into the cardiac Cath Lab schedule, covering an imaging rotation, and sharing both general and interventional call
    • Core privileges include assessing, stabilizing, and determining the disposition of patients with emergent conditions consistent with policies regarding emergency and consultative call services

    Requirements

    • Demonstrated competence and an adequate volume of experience (150 percutaneous coronary interventional procedures) with acceptable outcomes for the past 24 months
    • Evidence of current physical and mental ability to perform privileges requested is required for all applicants for renewal of privileges
    • Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA accredited training program in interventional cardiology or equivalent practice experience if training occurred prior to 2003
    • Minimum of 2 years' work experience as an Interventional Cardiologist
