Part-time Pediatric Optometrist

We are seeking a Pediatric Optometrist to work part-time in a group located in Southern Rockland County, NY. This position requires coming in 2 days per week, including 2 Sundays per month, at a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) on the NJ/NY border. The outpatient practice is situated just 1 hour from NYC and 25 minutes from Westchester, NY.

The area has a large Orthodox population, so the group is open on all Federal Holidays but closed on Jewish holidays.

Job Description

• Provide pediatric optometry services in an outpatient setting
• Work part-time, including 2 Sundays per month
• Engage with a diverse patient population

Requirements

• Active NY state optometry license
• Medicaid provider preferred
• Two-plus years of optometry experience
