Critical Care Intensivist
Rapides Regional Medical Center, a 300-bed acute care facility in Alexandria, Louisiana, is seeking a full-time Critical Care Intensivist to join our established ICU team. This position offers a block schedule, strong APP support, and full subspecialty backup in a collaborative, patient-focused environment. Job Description
- Hospital: Rapides Regional Medical Center (part of HCA Healthcare)
- ICU Beds: 34-bed medical/surgical ICU
- Schedule: Block scheduling with rotating day and night shifts
- Coverage Model:
- Day: 2 Intensivists + APP support
- Night: 1 Intensivist + APP
- Required Procedures:
- Central/arterial line placement
- Ventilator management
- Intubations
- EMR: Meditech with voice dictation
- Collaborative Environment: Close coordination with hospitalists and full specialty support including pulmonology, cardiology, surgery, and more

Requirements
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Critical Care Medicine
- Proficient in ICU-level procedures
- Eligible for Louisiana medical license
