Hospitalist APP (PA or NP)
Inhospital Physicians is hiring experienced Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) to join our Hospital Medicine teams at two well-supported acute care hospitals in Menifee and Victorville, California. These full-time W2 positions offer consistent 12-hour shifts, collaboration with experienced Hospitalists, and comprehensive benefits.
Job Description
- Provide inpatient medical management for a variety of adult patients, working alongside hospitalist MDs and specialists in a collegial, team-based environment.
- Perform H&Ps, daily rounding, progress notes, and discharges.
- Communicate with specialists, families, and nursing teams.
- Assist with rapid responses and patient transitions (non-procedural role).
- Collaborate with supervising physicians and hospital teams to ensure quality care.
- Maintain timely and thorough EMR documentation.
Requirements
- Licensed PA-C or NP (FNP or AGACNP preferred) in California or eligible.
- Minimum 1 year of inpatient or acute care experience (hospitalist, ICU, or similar).
- Comfortable with adult general medicine cases.
- Strong clinical communication, organization, and critical thinking skills.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required.

Physical Demands
This physician/APP role requires stamina in fast-paced healthcare: prolonged standing/walking (8-12 hrs/shift); rapid emergency movement (sprints, crowds); lifting/carrying 25-50 lbs equipment; pushing/pulling 100 lbs (beds/carts) with aid; frequent bending/stooping/kneeling for care; constant reaching/fine motor skills (suturing/IVs); occasional climbing/balancing; tolerating stressors (temps, noise, fluids, hazards) during irregular shifts/on-call/infection risks accommodations for disabilities; varies by setting (clinic/ER).
