Job Description

• The Medical Director has primary responsibility for the clinical oversight and medical management of the Physicians assigned to the designated clinics.
• The Medical Director ensures that the care delivered by participating Physicians and Providers meets the standard for quality, timeliness, appropriateness, and variances in all the initiatives defined by InnovaCare.

Requirements

• Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.)
• Board certified or board eligible in internal medicine, family medicine, and/or geriatric medicine
• Valid, unrestricted TX license (or willing to obtain)
• Understands managed care and Medicare
