Locum Tenens Anesthesiologist

Arroyo Grande Community Hospital is seeking multiple Locum Tenens Anesthesiologists to join their supportive and collegial team in California's beautiful Central Coast. This role includes hospital and ASC coverage with a strong culture of collaboration among surgeons and staff.

Job Description

• Location: Arroyo Grande Community Hospital, 345 S Halcyon Rd, Arroyo Grande, CA 93420 (with sister site CSI ASC)
• Beds: 67
• Operating Rooms: 3 (plus 1 surgery center, 3 total anesthetizing locations)
• Annual Case Volume: 1,800 OR, 250 GI
• Case Mix: Bread & butter, orthopedics with UGRA, endoscopy; no peds, no cardiac
• Charting/EMR: Cerner
• Support: Independent CRNAs (no supervision model)
• Schedule & Call:
  • Daily Hours: 8-10 hour shifts
  • Weekday Call Ratio: 1:4
  • Weekend Call Ratio: 1:4

Requirements

• Board Certification in Anesthesiology
• Active California medical license (or in process)
• Current ACLS required
• Must be comfortable with full anesthesia care (100% physician-provided; no medical direction of CRNAs)
