Job Description

• Coverage from December 31, 2025, to July 31, 2026
• Shift Types: 6:00 AM - 4:00 PM, 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM, 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM, 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
• Weekend coverage required
• Multiple shifts available throughout the assignment period
• Scheduled Dates:

  • January 12, 2026 - 2:00 PM - 12:00 AM
  • January 17, 2026 - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • January 24, 2026 - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • January 25, 2026 - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • January 30, 2026 - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM
  • January 31, 2026 - 8:00 PM - 6:00 AM

Requirements

• Board Certified (No BE); IM/FM accepted with 2+ years recent ED experience
• MI License required at time of clear (No IMLC)
• Certifications: ACLS, BLS, PALS
• Must be local
• Clean malpractice history

Required Procedures/Skills

• Airway management
• Central Line
• Arterial Line
• EKG interpretation
• Lumbar puncture
• Paracentesis
• Suturing of minor lacerations
• Orthopedic care (non-displaced fractures)
• Incision & Drainage
• Arthrocentesis
• Ventilation management (establishing & maintaining airway; various modes for up to 24 hours without pulmonary consult)
• Evaluation & management of acute volume/BP issues
• Adult Outpatient
• Pediatric-General Outpatient
• Newborn resuscitation
• Diagnosis & management of common industrial-related medical problems
• EM-related procedures

Additional Notes

• Patient Volume: Approx. 80 patients/day; 1.8 patients/hour per physician
• Support Staff: APP coverage (12 hours), full ED nursing/tech support, radiology, and lab
• EMR: Cerner
