One of Jackson and Coker's partnering hospitals in Louisiana is seeking locums GI coverage for weekends starting in January through at least June 2026. General GI - ERCP/EUS not required. Are you or a colleague available to help?

Job Description

• Dates Needed (Friday 5pm - Monday 7am):

  • December 19 5p - December 22 7a (2025)
  • January 30 5p - February 2 7a
  • February 20 5p - February 23 7a
  • April 24 5p - April 27 7a
  • May 15 5p - May 18 7a
  • July 3 5p - July 6 7a
  • August 21 5p - August 24 7a
  • September 18 5p - September 21 7a
  • October 16 5p - October 19 7a
  • November 13 5p - November 16 7a
  • December 18 5p - December 21 7a

• Facility requirements/details:

  • Must have active Louisiana license or active IMLC
  • Board Certified or Board Eligible required

• Schedule/Call Requirements:

  • Weekends only
  • Coverage starts Friday 5pm - Monday 7am
  • Weekend 24-hour call

• Scope of Work:

  • Weekend call coverage
  • Procedures/Cases: General GI (ERCP/EUS preferred but not required)
  • Rounding included in 24-hour call
  • Average consults per day: 4-6
  • Locums working independently
