Pediatric Nephrology Locums Job in Minnesota

Join our team for an immediate and ongoing coverage assignment in Pediatric Nephrology. This position offers weekday shifts with limited weekend coverage.

Job Description

• Coverage needed: Immediate and ongoing
• Weekdays: Monday (8am) - Friday (5pm), 2-3 weeks per month
• Weekends: Friday (5pm) - Monday (8am), around 1 weekend per quarter
• Inpatient rounds during the day (around 10 hours/day), pager call at night
• Pager call is for two locations
• Rare evening/night in-person patient care (less than once a month)
• Average patients per shift: 6-12
• All consult service for both locations
• EMR: Epic and Cerner
• Will be working with residents, fellows, and medical students

Requirements

• Board certified
• Fellowship
• Must be licensed in Minnesota
• Procedures: Hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and Aquadex
• Kidney transplant experience preferred
