Jackson and Coker has an exciting opportunity for a dedicated Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage in New York.

Job Description

• In-person only, no telehealth option available
• Start date: Immediate availability preferred
• Contract Length: Initial 3-month contract, with potential for extension
• Approximately 21 hours per week
• One day per week with a 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM shift
• Additional days with a 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM schedule
• Ages 5 and up, covering a wide range of diagnoses
• Primarily adults, with some pediatric cases
• Candidates must be willing to prescribe Suboxone (certification available if needed)
• Provide care through both evaluations and follow-ups (45-minute evaluations, 20-30 minute follow-ups for adults)
• Clinical supervision of NPs and participation in our PROS program
• Sign treatment plans and manage patient care
• EMR System: Netsmart
• Credentialing timeline: Fast-track process, approximately 2 weeks
• Certification requirements: enrollment in NY Medicaid/Medicare is required
