Part-Time Child Psychiatrist

This part-time opportunity offers a flexible weekday schedule and the ability to make a meaningful impact within a collaborative care environment.

Job Description

• Schedule: On-site, 4 hours per week
• Flexible hours: Monday-Friday between 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
• Patient population: Children and adolescents with intellectual disabilities
• Team environment: Work alongside an interdisciplinary care team
• Documentation: Electronic health record charting
• Perform psychiatric evaluations and assessments
• Diagnose and treat psychiatric disorders
• Document clinical encounters accurately in the EMR
• Participate in team-based care planning
• Provide oversight and justification of medication use

Requirements

• Licensed (unrestricted) physician in Texas
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Current DEA registration
• Active NPI number
• Proficient with electronic medical records
• Must complete required facility and HHSC training
