Vascular Surgery Weekend Call & Monday Clinic Locums Job

Jackson & Coker's valued partner in the Central Florida/Orlando area is seeking weekend Vascular Surgery call coverage, along with clinic coverage the following Monday, beginning in late May and continuing on an ongoing basis.

Job Description

• Schedule consists of weekend 24-hour call coverage from Friday at 7 AM to Monday at 7 AM, followed by a clinic shift on each Monday starting at 8 AM and ending at 5 PM.
• Dates needed:
  • 7 AM 6/19 - 7 AM 6/22 + clinic on 6/22 from 8 AM until 5 PM
  • 7 AM 6/26 - 7 AM 6/29 + clinic on 6/29 from 8 AM until 5 PM
  • 7 AM 7/3 - 7 AM 7/6 + clinic on 7/6 from 8 AM until 5 PM

Requirements

• Required: Florida license + DEA
• Required: Active Board Certification + updated case logs from the last 12 months
• Must be comfortable working in fast-paced, high-volume settings + with endovascular surgery
• Will be allowing a group of 3 Surgeons to take weekends off and to allow them to catch up on Mondays with procedures
• Inpatient APP support available while covering weekend call, clinic APP support also available onsite for Monday coverage
• Inpatient volume: average of 15-18 PPD (rounding, ED consults & emergent procedures)
• Clinic volume: average of 13-16 PPD
