Join our team for an ongoing Pediatric Neurology locum position in California, with the potential for full-time coverage starting early 2026, pending credentialing.

Job Description

• Active California medical license required
• Clean malpractice background highly preferred
• Board Certification required
• Fellowship preferred
• Ongoing clinic assignment with shared nights/weekend call
• Work type: Mix of inpatient and outpatient, consisting of 6-7 half-day clinics per week plus on-call duties
• Clinic hours: Monday through Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM
• Commitment: Can be full-time or part-time; the facility is willing to accept rotating physicians (e.g., 2 weeks on/off)
• 250+ bed hospital
• Patient volume: 5-10 patients per 24-hour call shift
• The physician will typically round on 0-4 patients per day
• Admissions/Discharges handled by the Pediatric resident team
• Procedures: The physician is required to read EEGs
• Stroke protocol: Code strokes are not handled on-site; risks identified early are transferred
• Support includes one full-time NP, one MA, and one part-time RN coordinator
